CUSTOM V-CARVED REPRODUCTION
SHIPWRECK MAILBOX SIGNS
If you like the seafaring history of the Outer Banks,
you probably will like these signs.

They are similar to the old ship's quarterboard panels
that were on the old sailing ships. I like the old shipwreck's
look and like making these reproduction signs.

I have sought to make these sign simple, rustic, and
maintenance free. I have done a lot of signs down here and know
what the elements can do to a sign. These signs are stained and
already look weathered. They will look the same for years to come.
I like how they blend in to the existing 4" x 4" weathered treated
posts that most mailboxes are supported by.
For the price of one or two nights out to dinner,
you can have a lasting sign which reflects
the Outer Banks maritime heritage.
You can use these on mailbox, or use them as a cottage sign.
Larger sizes are available, they are an inexpensive
alternative to standard cottage signs.
I like the red cedar unfinished the best. After a few months
the signs weather to a grey that doesn't need maintenance.
Right now, I will offer these signs
unfinished, stained in ebony, provincial, or golden oak.
Take your pick.

This is the ebony stain above.

This is the provincial stain above.

This is the golden oak stain.

This sign omits the shell pattern.
I can have these signs done in one day,
and am willing to drive a few miles to meet you,
so you could have one of these in time for Christmas.
I'm going to be putting these on sale until March 1.
These prices are about 1/3 off regular price.
The dimensions of this sign is 4.5" x 23" x .75"
The price is $49 each, or a set of two for $89.
