Capt. Dave Morris I grew up outside of Philadelphia and went to Penn State. I graduated with a degree in political science. During that time I sailed and canoed a great deal. I moved down to the Outer Banks in 1990. I continued to sail and and learned to hang-glide and windsurf. I became a U.S.C.G. licensed captain in 1995. I upgraded that license to master in 1996. I have worked at Waterworks in Nags Head since then running an airboat and a pontoon boat going on dolphin watches. At times I have been able to mate aboard a topsail schooner. I have been making signs since 1995. I have been to numerous workshops on signmaking, and have become proficient in Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, Streamline, Premiere, After Effects, Coreldraw, Flexicut, and other graphic programs. |
