Internet based designing
We can get quite a bit of designing done just by sending the right files over the internet. I routinely ask customers to take a picture of their van, house, business, or boat with some sort of benchmark to measure by in the picture. Typical benchmarks are: a yardstick taped on the van can be used to scale the photo for design and estimation purposes. Similarly, the width of a window on a business or house can act as a constant so the picture can be scaled and an accurate estimate made.
